OUR APPROACH
About Plastics
Can NOT be RECYCLED
A thermosetting plastic - also called a thermoset, is a plastic that is irreversibly formed from a soft solid or viscous liquid pre-polymer or resin. Once hardened a thermoset resin cannot be reheated and melted to be shaped differently, it decomposes and does not reform upon cooling.
Can be RECYCLED
A thermoplastic - is a plastic material, a polymer, that becomes pliable or moldable above a specific temperature and solidifies upon cooling. Thermoplastics may be reshaped by heating and are typically used to produce parts by various polymer processing techniques.
Recycled application
Recycled PET

Our Solution
Post-Consumer Recycled Plastics Verification
Sustainable Design Lab
Acting as an individual and objective third party, PIDC performs audits on the management system of post-consumer recycled plastics and issues certificates to companies conforming to the requirements.
Connecting the industry with the Sustainable Development Goals and maximizing global opportunities through sustainable design.
